Aviva
We have recently been set a task in advertising to create an advertising campaign to promote Aviva and 'saving for the future' in some way. We had a few different briefs to choose from but I decided I think I could get most out of this one, as I think you can be more creative.
After spending a while on research, I have decided to run down the route of reaching out to people by making saving seem like something 'contagious'. It is a campaign based around the slogan 'aviva fever'. I need to create a number of quirky posters which i'm aiming to be humorous and appealing. You need these factors if your going to appeal to the public.
This is a current poster advertisement for aviva. I am looking at some of the aspects of the pieces as I don't want to differentiate too much to the current ads. The colour scheme is iconic, with the blue text and the yellow background. If I was to change anything i think I would make the center image coloured as i personally think it looks too plain.
Again, the same colour scheme and layout is fairly similar to the poster shown above, yet the text is in a different style. I think I am deffinately going to follow the current popular layout style as its so recognisable and indifferent.
This poster looks like its from the same campaign as the top example. They have cleverly used the illustrations on the piece to create a marker for the swimmer, and the runner. The image is the thing that first catches the attention, and with the colour scheme I could imagine if it was placed with a few other advertisements, it would stand out.

This is a very simple poster. I think it is really effective though, it gives you the choice to decide the anwser although it is already obvious what it is. Again, the text is the same font and colour showing consistency.
After extensive research I have found an idea which i think is quite quirky. I have come up with the slogan 'aviva fever'. I am going to create a series of posters in which 'aviva fever' is used to help people save. After researching current Aviva posters, I have decided the same colour scheme is going to be used as it is already very recognisable.
